Creative coding

Coding used to feel like a hobby to me. The fun had nothing to do with learning a new framework. It was about making something completely pointless and showing it to my friends.

Creative coding is exactly that. You make things only because you want to see them exist, like particles that move in weird ways, shapes that react to music, or a shader that does something interesting with light. None of it needs to be useful.

Many of my experiments start late at night, when I am playing with a canvas and I get curious about what happens if I add sine waves to everything.

It makes me feel like a kid again, and you can see some of the results in the lab.

So make something useless. It is a lot of fun.
